Leading Hybrid Architecture Exploring the City | AA Archigroup Technology Research Institute'

Last August, many people waited at COEX in Samseong-dong to experience 'AA BIM.' AA BIM is an add-in developed by the Technology Research Institute in collaboration with Imagine Builder, which aids in obtaining building permits in the BIM design process. It garnered much attention, with 3,000 visitors at the booth during the exhibition. BIM is a technology that digitalizes information at all stages of construction, including building planning, design, and construction.

The advantage of 'Revit Box-AA BIM' is that it reduces the time needed to input information into Seumteo, an architectural administration system, by 90%, thus simplifying the process of obtaining building permits. Furthermore, AA Archigroup plans to showcase the BIM at the Imagine Builder booth at the Korea Architecture Fair & Festival, which will take place at COEX in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, from the 16th to the 18th, to attract attention again.

The interior team also recently presented a unique design featuring the ‘Transforming Wall’ in the model house for the ‘Hillstate Lake Songdo 5 Interior Project,’ capturing interest from the industry and the market despite sluggish sales. The technology research center gained media attention, with Managing Director Lee Myungja, who oversaw the design, being interviewed for insights about the ‘Transforming Wall.’
