Tokyo Electron Korea, Yongin Office Groundbreaking Ceremony...Completed in 2027
Tokyo Electron Korea's Y-PJT (Yongin Office), designed by AA archigroup, held its groundbreaking ceremony on September 3 at Wonsam General Industrial Complex in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do, officially commencing construction. The event was attended by Tokyo Electron Korea executives and employees, along with key figures including Han Chul-wook, CEO of AA archigroup. The project consists of an office building and an R&D center (TEL Technology Center Korea-Y), with completion targeted for January 2027. The R&D center is designed with a structure identical to an actual semiconductor mass production fab, and its 1,650㎡ cleanroom is planned as a modular system expandable to 3,300㎡ in the future. Through this project, AA archigroup is contributing to the establishment of cutting-edge research infrastructure and the growth of Korea's semiconductor industry.
