AA Archigroup has once again demonstrated its leading position in the BIM design field by being the first in the architectural design industry to receive the ‘Business Owner Qualification’ certification from the Human Resources Development Institute of Korea under the Ministry of Employment and Labor.

The ‘Business Owner Qualification’ certification is a system in which the Human Resources Development Institute of Korea grants credibility to in-house qualifications run by companies. Certification is awarded after a stringent review of the systematic nature of education, qualification evaluation criteria, operational results, and operation plans.

Through this certification, AA Archigroup has secured the authority to independently conduct an accredited BIM design qualification test. Those who pass the test will be officially recognized as possessing a nationally accredited BIM design qualification. This achievement establishes a new standard for training BIM design personnel and will provide an opportunity to further enhance AA Archigroup’s technical capabilities and expertise.

In particular, AA Archigroup is implementing a BIM-related regional and industry-tailored human resource development project with government support in cooperation with Korea Polytechnics and is also pursuing BIM ISO 19650 certification to align with global BIM standards. Building on these leading efforts, AA Archigroup plans to systematically operate BIM education and qualification tests in accordance with the official guidelines set by government agencies. This initiative will produce credible professional human resources for domestic and international BIM design projects, thereby securing a higher level of design competitiveness. Additionally, AA Archigroup conducts BIM design in compliance with internationally recognized ISO procedures and is prepared to deliver differentiated results based on its experience collaborating with various overseas partners.
