Bohyun Chung Appointed to Seoul Green Architecture Advisory Committee
Bohyun Chung, Director of the Technology Research Institute at AA Archigroup, has been appointed to the Seoul Metropolitan Government’s Green Architecture Advisory Committee for a two-year term (June 1, 2025 – May 31, 2027). The committee plays a key role in strengthening the city’s green architecture policies by fostering expert collaboration on design standards and related institutional improvements.
On July 3, Director Chung participated in the first advisory meeting, held at the Seosomun Building 2 Government Complex. The session focused on key agenda items including revisions to Seoul’s Green Architecture Design Standards in alignment with the national master plan, refinement of the city’s design improvement measures, and proposals to enhance incentive systems.
“Drawing from hands-on experience in design projects, I aim to contribute to developing practical and implementable revisions to green architecture policies,” Director Chung noted. He also reaffirmed his commitment to supporting Seoul’s sustainable architectural environment through ongoing technical advisory services, while further expanding the institute’s expertise across diverse design-related fields.
