Bohyun Chung Appointed to Seoul Green Architecture Advisory Committee
Participates in First Advisory Meeting, Contributing to Seoul's Sustainable Architectural Environment
Bohyun Chung, Director of the Technology Research Institute at AA archigroup, has been appointed to the Seoul Metropolitan Government's Green Architecture Advisory Committee for a two-year term from June 1, 2025, to May 31, 2027. The appointment is part of Seoul's efforts to enhance the effectiveness of its green architecture policies and establish an expert collaboration framework for revising green building design standards and improving related institutional systems.
On July 3, Director Chung attended the First Advisory Meeting on Green Architecture Policy Implementation at the Seosomun Building 2 Government Complex. The meeting addressed key agenda items including:
Revision directions for Seoul's Green Architecture Design Standards in alignment with the national master plan established by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport
Review and refinement of improvement measures for the city's design standards
Enhancement proposals for incentive systems
"Drawing from hands-on experience in design projects, I aim to contribute to developing practical and implementable revisions to green architecture policies," Director Chung commented. He also expressed his commitment to continuing support for Seoul's sustainable architectural environment through technical advisory services while expanding the institute's expertise across diverse design-related fields.
